Maybe they just couldn’t wait until their scheduled “big day” this coming June, or maybe trading the stress of planning for one beautiful and relaxed day was more their speed. Whatever it was, we are so glad Courtney and Scott decided to have a Fort Worth elopement. It was the most effortless, intentional and beautiful day centered solely around their decision to make what had seemed like forever (they’ve basically been together since elementary school) into actual forever.
From Courtneys gown to their intimate dinner with their closest friends and family at La Perla Negra in downtown Fort Worth, every moment seemed perfectly, yet so organically…honest and filled to overflow with love.
Love may not always be as easy as this day, nor as effortlessly beautiful. Sometimes, everything will not go as planned and you’ll have to travel with the tide, wherever it leads. But, I guess in many ways, you have already fought for, sought after and intentionally planned for, what was, one of our favorite wedding days to date. You already know that the tide can lead to wonderful places, and that going together is better than going alone. So, here is to the days that take your breath away without notice and the people who make them worth remembering. To the tough decisions that lead to “why didn’t we just do this from the beginning?” and to the truth that love is what you let love be.
Congratulations to two people with one of the most amazing loves we’ve ever seen. We are thankful for you!
