I don’t know a girl who wasn’t jealous of Annie Banks when the snow began to fall as she played basketball with her dad the night before her wedding day. Father Of The Bride set the precedent for all wedding envy early in the 90s and it still does. When Morgan saw the forecast of 2 inches of ICE for her wedding this past Saturday, she had 2 choices, be upset, or be excited. Thankfully, she chose the latter and took everything in beautiful stride. There are few couples who can withstand the pressure of planning a wedding, and re-planning the weekend before, but I know a few and Morgan and Cody are now all star members of our elite group. Whats more, is the amount of grace they gave to everyone throughout the weekend. Through their love, smiles, hugs and tears you could feel they were thankful, grateful for every soul who sled their way to their big day. Their hearts were full, and it was truly beautiful.
I don’t know anyone else, besides the Lord (not even Franck Eggelhoffer) who could pull of setting a wedding atmosphere like this. He showed off in some incredible ways for this STUNNING winter wedding. Icicles catching light and complementing the beautiful chandeliers , the 2 inches on the ground with their ripples that matched Morgans gown and veil perfectly, and the uncanny way that 18 degrees just makes you want to be that much closer to the ones you love. Take that, Annie Banks! Now, grab a cup of hot cocoa, your favorite blanket and enjoy this gorgeous Gather Mckinney wedding.
Leave some love for the couple in a comment below, and I’ll be sure to send you a link to the full gallery later this week!
