I love these two so much! I’ll share the story on the big post…just know how excited and giddy I am to share these with you guys! AND how stoked I am for their wedding. Aww…I knew this day would come!
The husband of one of my most beautiful models to date is on his way to becoming a big time actor! He and Amy have picked up their life in Plano TX and moved out to Cali to pursue his acting career and I am so excited to see where it is going to go! A crazy twist of fate landed Drew in the lead of his first movie, Flatline, which is now in post production and set to hit the big screen in 2011! Although he told me ” I don’t like picture cameras. I like movie cameras. I can’t do pictures.” I think you’ll agree with me when I say that he does quite fine in front of a “picture camera”! Here’s just a few of my favorite shots, not necessarily all head shots but still, my favorite. Be on the look out for the movie to come out in 2011! Don’t worry…I’ll probably remind you if I forget! Congratulations Drew! Best luck to you and Amy out in CA! Can’t wait to see you guys again!
And…how exciting is this! My head shots of Drew are on IMDB! I’m so pumped!
So. My friend Stevan released his first worship album last week and I am so excited for him! This album is absolutely incredible, I can’t stop listening to it! Not only did Stevan write and perform all of the songs, but a number of my friends helped produce and perform other parts of the album too! Stevan has such a remarkable heart for worship and the Lord is so evident in his life. This album resounds the love of the Lord over and over again, it brings you to the throne of worship in the first 30 seconds and you can’t help but listen to it over and over again! For the low price of $4.95 you can buy Stevan’s Album You Stand Alone by clicking on that link! You can also search for it on itunes!
And if anyone needs a studio to record in and you love this album, contact me and I’ll get you hooked up with the label , “The Relic Federation”. Go buy it! You won’t be disappointed!!
Baby boy Beckett was born this week! I felt is was only appropriate to post his first portrait session ever! (Inside his beautiful mom of course!) We had such a great time on this shoot! Daniel was responsible for recruiting me to DBU and has been a friend ever since. His lovely bride was in a few of my classes last semester and when she approached me about taking these portraits for her, I couldn’t resist! Daniel is incredibly goofy, free spirited and confident. Paired with Courtnie’s sweet spirit, loving heart and great sense of humor, these two make a great the perfect team! Now that their duo has become a trio, I couldn’t help but put these up to celebrate! Love you guys and welcome to the world sweet Beckett!!
She is just glowing!! Such a beautiful wife and mom!!
I am so excited to post this wedding! After falling completely in love with these two over the last year, needless to say, I have just LOVED every moment of their wedding process! Jake and Cari are two of the most precious people and I am so blessed to call them my friends! As you’ll see throughout the post, these two love each other and the Lord with a passion that is incredibly visible and tangible. I love you guys!!!
Cari and I started out the day with hair and makeup!
Here’s a killer shot Ali snatched of Jake getting ready to go see his gorgeous bride!
A few moments of sweet prayer that brought me to tears…both times. Such amazing friends to lavish these two in the Lord on their big day.
And the magical moment that left me speechless and goosebumped…their first look! I’ll never forget Cari’s sweet words,” You can turn around my love!”
Completely in love. Love this.
Jake prayed over his soon to be bride and although I couldn’t hear, I know it was beautiful. I cried anyway.
Just when I thought my tears were done…Cari walked down with her dad (quite the collected dad too by the way) and we all lost it. Again.
As is tradition at the Fort Worth Bell Tower, the bride and groom ring the bells in celebration after the wedding! Love these shots! Check out the precious flower girl!!
I love Cari’s face in this shot. She is so in love with Jake! And I spy a completely joyful mother of the bride in the background too!
In the second shot Ali caught Jake singing “Make you feel my love” to Cari during their first dance.
I absolutely adore the way Jake’s dad and sister are so joyously watching the first dance.
Cari threw her bouquet twice due to low ceilings…check out her face on try one! HAHA!
And the facial award during try number two goes to…the bridesmaids…ok ok…and Cari too!
I wish the best for you guys!!! I love you and I can’t wait to see you soon! Thank you for letting me be a part of this special time in your life together!
