A few shared glances during the classes they had in common at the University of Texas at Arlington definitely got these two lovebirds attention. Just…not in the way you would think. When Tamesha and Jared first met, they had no intention or desire to friends, let alone date each other and one day be married to one another. They shyly refer to those days as “the days we sort of hated each other”. But once they were given the chance to truly get to know each other, and see past the barriers they had built, it wasn’t long before they fell pretty quickly for each other. Jared’s upbringing in Boston and Canada, gave him a northerner edge, which doesn’t always mix easy with a girl who was born and raised as a southern girl. A little spark, and a lot of love has made these two the perfect match though… their chemistry is almost sickening now, and it isn’t difficult to see why they are such a good match, considering Jared’s professional running career and Tamesha’s job as a coach and personal trainer. I believe finding someone who can keep up with you in every aspect of what makes them quite the catch, and that definitely rings true for Jared and Tamesha…in every sense of the word.
Jared is often traveling the world, racing against the worlds fastest men in various countries. He even ran in the last summer Olympics and is shaping up to be a shoe in for the London games! It takes an incredible woman to be the wife of a professional athlete, and Tamesha is just that. She is kind, patient and intentional, all things which make her an ideal match for Jared and he is outspoken, driven and considerate, which seem to meet Mesha right where she is…let’s face it, if you’re not smitten with them already, I am probably obsessed enough for all of us.
Jared suggested beginning our engagement session in Las Colinas by the beautiful running horses… for obvious reasons. Then it was off to one of their favorite parks for a quick stroll and a game of football! This shoot was SO much fun! I could not be more excited for their Jamaican destination wedding in December!
